Ammon fo cuses primarily on American choco late, but brings information and lore from everywhere. There are a few reci pes, some chocolate poems, and a quote from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory , all in the context of the infor mation being discussed. The format of the book is inviting: the margins are wide, the illustrations are numerous, and the text is broken up by boxes con taining interesting facts.
