The Return Of Virgil Stillwater

After spending ten years in the penitentiary for a brutal murder, Virgil Stillwater returns to Allendale, Georgia to put his past behind him and rebuild his shattered life. With his life finally on track, he meets Emily Purvis, a desperate and troubled young woman half his age. His deep love for Emily nearly destroys his attempt to put his violent and brutal past behind him and threatens to put him back behind bars.

The Loss Of A Beloved Son

The mysterious disappearance of their son is the final blow to Clifford and Lois Burkhalter’s rocky marriage, yet it’s their daughter’s brutal death that reveals the unbelievable horrors of a practice in which we are all unknowing participants.

Torture and death----terms used to describe the termination of a life. On the kill floor that’s not always an accurate description. Either way, THE KILL FLOOR will rip your heart out and send you to a dark place you never knew existed. Guaranteed to open your eyes and possibly change your life forever.

Meet the Author

Have lived in the South all of my life. I enjoy writing Southern fiction and murder mysteries. I have written seven novels and numerous short stories over the past 35 years.

I published two novels (Coleman Hill and the sequel Porter Plantation) through a publisher. Within the four years since those novels have been on bookshelves, I have enjoyed continued success with both and can now see my books in the local Barnes and Noble. The books sell well and are continually reordered.

I've now self-published four more novels (WHERE THE KUDZU GROWS, SOCIAL CIRCLE, NOBODY'S DAUGHTER and THE KILL FLOOR) all e-books. KUDZU, SOCIAL CIRCLE and THE KILL FLOOR are murder mysteries and seem to be enjoyed by those who have read them and all have received four and five star ratings. NOBODY'S DAUGHTER is a Mafia crime novel. I'm very excited about taking total control over my publishing career thanks to Amazon.

I'm presently working on my next e-book titled, ALL FOR NOTHING, another Southern fiction novel. I am also working on a collection of short stories, two of which were developed into novels, THE KILL FLOOR and the soon to be released ALL FOR NOTHING.

I hope everyone will download samples of these books and enjoy them enough to finish reading the complete novel.

Thanks to all my fans.

June Thomas Cook
