I think Tupac is one of the best rapers. You can relate to almost everything he raps about. You can understand his word. When u listen to him rap, you can imagine what he is talkin' about. His spirit will stay with us.

I liked this book because it did not lie to the reader about what went on with the whole killing of tu-pac. I also liked how they gave many intresting facts about how the police did not take action on some of the cluse given. They also gave a brief biography on his life and how he knew that he was going die young. This book also made me mad when I read this because the killer of tu-pac could and should have been caught.

tupac is not dead, it is proven with this...Tupac died in 1996, B.I.G. died in 1997...there was a song released in 1998 by Tupac called 'God Bless The Dead' ... it says 'Rest in peace to my mother f**** biggie smalls. how would he know that if he was dead? and how come he asked to be buried and he was 'creamated'? and how come suge knight was sitting on that side of him, and he was 'grazed' and why was his funeral cancelled twice? he's alive, and i know it...

I am an English teacher with a seventeen year old son. Of course, I am 'peeped' on what's happening in the world of rap music through my son and my students. However, I have always been a fan of Tupac's because of his genius, his way with words, his poetic style, and his social and political awareness. That is what we loved so much about Tupac--his ability to speak to so many people, young and old, who could not put into words what what was wrong with this world. He had a rough life, practically raising himself at times, but in that experience, he was able to convey to us what it was like to be hurt, to be poot, to be labeled 'disadvantaged.' And yet, he rose above it all. I am so sorry that so many other rappers, who do not have the talent that Tupac had, were jealous of this talented, young black man, who really was the writer, Richard Wright, of our time. He spoke of anger and injustice and sought to shed light on these injustices by rapping about them. I think that jealousy from other young black rappers is what really killed and disillusioned Tupac the most. Where is the Unity black folks?

Tupac is the best raper that ever lived. It realy sucks that he is supposed to to be dead even though he is not. Tupac is an awesome person. It is not true about the crip thing because Tupac wasent in a gang. Tupac just chilled with ganges. I love all of Tupacs books. I am glad that I got to read all of his books and I say to all you that like Tupac you should read his books.

Everbody thinks Tupac Shakur is dead well guess what he is'nt.Tupac still lives in us with his music, every thing that Tupac did in his life we know.I feel that Tupac was a leader and that he lead some of the Rappers that are out there now.So when the media say that Tupac was a criminal and a gangster thay are calling all the rest of the hip hop industry gangsters and criminals because thay got thier game from the greatest rapper that ever lived.

Though the rumors of his death will always be there, this book helps to try to uncover the truth, whatever it may be. You may believe he is still alive, but the fact of the matter is he is not HERE. Besides, you can't kill someone who is already immortal in our hearts.

THOUGH SOME PARTS OF THE BOOK ARE INTERESTING, YOU MUST QUESTION THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE AUTOPSY PHOTO AS WELL AS THE CORONERS REPORT.... CATHY SCOTT CLAIMS THE PHOTO IS REAL AND THAT SHE HAS THE ORIGINAL,WHICH SHE CLAIMS IS IN COLOR..YET ON HER WEBSITE THE PHOTO IS IN BLACK AND WHITE...WHY NOT SHOW THE COLOR PHOTO?? MY ANSWER: BECAUSE SHE KNOWS THAT PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO TELL ITS A FAKE!!!!

Tupac Amaru Shakur has once again taken on hip hop in another perspective. This book is just an unforseen truth of how life really is in the ghetto and how a true baller tried to succed at something great in his lifetime. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a definite Pac fan!!!

Overview
On September 6, 1996, rapper Tupac Shakur was gunned down in a drive-by shooting a few blocks from the fabled Las Vegas Strip. The Killing of Tupac Shakur digs deep into the events leading up to, and following, the headline-grabbing murder. This in-depth chronicle focuses on Tupac’s double life as an entertainment superstar and a convict, spotlighting his meteoric rise to the top of the world of hip-hop in the context of the dangerous economics of renegade record labels. It examines all the possible motives for Tupac’s murder—the gang connection, the rap wars, the high-level conspiracies—and exposes the failed police investigation of the crime, which remains unsolved. This book is now in its second edition, having been
