Since others have pointed out that this book is not worth the .99, allow me to offer an alternative.
The KJV Bible, in a basic text format, is available for free. You can download a PDF of the King James Version here - http://www.basicchristian.org/HolyBible.pdf. I put this on my Nook and it does fine. Very readable and very fast. The formatting at larger text sizes is slightly off, but that is a very minor issue.

Tried to use this one in church. Clicked on Acts and it took me to chapter 16 of John. Also, this is the only book that has cause my Nook to freeze. Glad it's the book and not the reader

Since it was my first download, I thought that either I had done something wrong or that my new Nook was already broken. I'm deleting it from my library.

The words, since they are the King James Version, is wonderful. But the navigation leaves something to be desired. The Holy Bible - King James 400th Anniversary Edition (With Pro Nav Links!) from Barnes and Noble's NookBook section is by far the best navigation I have used.

It is impossible to navigate to chapters. You must go page by page. Buy a bible that you can go straight to chapters. I don't have hours to look for one verse.

This is one of the worst bible editions I have ever seen, do not download it. It does not give you the whole bible, it also does not seem to be set up to be used on Nook.

The chapters don't work correctly--I try to go to Matthew, and it takes me to the Apocrypha.

I downloaded this straight to my nook and the format is horrible. I can only get a max of three to five sentences per page!!! And it is very, very slow to pull up. Page turns are slow too. Most would attribute this to the size but I'm currently reading The Stand unabridged on my nook and it loads very quickly.

I wished I would have read the reviews on this before I even spent 99 cent on it. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a dollar. All I wanted was the basic bible, not that Apocrypha. Tried to use it in Bible Study and got no where. Good thing I had my blackberry with me.

I am going to delete it from my library. I'm glad I only paid 99cents. I do not need nor want Apocrypha. I just wanted the standard old and new testament.
