I was pleasantly surprised with this book.  When I read the description and since it was free, I assumed it was a 40-page short story but it is over 200 pages and the story just sucks you in.  I had to chuckle when the female lead is trying to figure out the actions of the male characters and  compares it to trying to understand aliens!  Isn't that the way most male-female interactions seem?!!

I couldn't put it down. Funny, romantic, a little heat, and even some life lessons thrown in (if you notice). Loved it. Thanks for the free read.

I enjoyed this book. it was a real short read but worth it. It was not hard to figure out who the mystery man was, but once his back round came into play it was understandable. I would like to read more from this author.

God, I’m so happy when I finish reading a great book. So, I’m feeling so happy right now. Why?! I just finish reading The Kiss. God, how great it is this book. I don’t know why this book isn’t in everybody’s lips. It is a short story, but foe a short story it is quite big. I don’t know if you get what I’m trying to say. The point is that I love it. Let just focus on that. The story follows a girl named Eliza ( love the name) who has a pretty hard life. She is in college, but 2 years ago she was betrayed by her “Prince Charming”. I love so much how the story begin. That kiss in the dark from a “stranger” was so intense. I don’t thing that I’ve read such an unique beginning. The story is around this moment. Everything begins with this moment. And I loved it. It is a typical college story, when the girl finally founds her power to believe in her self and be more brave. I loved so much this story because it didn’t started like every love story out there. And didn’t follows that same action like them. I mean every step. It bring us some different. And all the people love different. Especially books. I’m so in love with Nate, and everything that she done for her. Oh, that boy twisted my mind. I love a typical bad boy, and more when they are in bed. :D This book was perfect from the beginning to the end. I loved how this action went so smooth, and perfect in time. Everybody got what they deserved. Hope you will read this story because it has it all: love, betrayal, hate, humor, sex, bad boy… I’m telling you. You will love it.

All in all it was a good book and a good read. The characters were formed to where you knew them and their personalities. The editing was good also. Wish it was longer tho. I read it in a few hours. It was definitely a page turner! :)

I liked this book more than I thought I would, since I don't normally like love stories where the characters are so young. (Eliza is a college sophomore.) The characters are fun, Eliza's dud dates are hilariously bad, and she and Nate have great chemistry. Well worth reading, and I intend to check out what else the author has written.

PROS- I usually don't write reviews but on this one I felt compelled to. I was having trouble sleeping so I figured I'd read a bit. Three hours later...I finished it and its 213 pages! This book sucks you in! It's romantic and funny. I found myself smiling through most of it. I had a few spots where my mouth actually fell open in shock or awe. The story line is totally workable. You find yourself drawn to the players very quickly. Hell I want my own Nate! ;) CONS- If you have half a brain you'll start to figure out in the first few pages who kissed her. By page 24 I knew exactly who it was. The way she bounces to the past for the back story got on my nerves a bit and gave things away. The author does such a good job at drawing you in that it sucks that she ended it so quickly. The book could've been much larger. It makes the plot feel rushed. The ending leaves much to be desired. Right when it seems like there's another build up she just drops off abruptly. Even with the cons though, I really liked this book. I'll be looking for her other works. Hopefully the endings are better.

I really liked this story! You can't help but get drawn into this 210 page read. I was surprised at the abrupt ending though. I sure hope that means we get another novella of these two characters. ;-)
