Meet the Author

I have a deep love for animals. I enjoy talking about them,
sharing stories about them and delight in their different
personalities and characters. It is amazing how often their
behavior parallels that of humans.
I wrote and illustrated children’s stories for years for my
own daughter and for nieces and nephews. The stories
were realistic with a lesson and I always tried to present
positive thoughts and feelings to keep the stories fun and
uplifting. Children are never too young to learn and deserve
fun and happy stories.
Now I am combining my love for animals and my passion
for entertaining children by writing these stories about
the animals at our home, Keller Farms. In most cases, the
stories reflect actual happenings.
I hope you and your children enjoy my stories.”

    The Kittens and the Donkey

This is a darling story. My grandkids have loved all of these stories. As a retired elementary school teacher who has read countless stories to my students, I find these stories snd illustrations engaging and charming. My grandkids and look forward to the kittens's next adventure! Meredith Black in Chesapeake, VA
