Highly recommend this one for knitters who like to design and redesign patterns

I just enjoy looking through this book to see what it will inspire me to make as a new design! The only downside to this book is that some of the directions are written in a rather cumbersome way and it may make it confusing to beginners. I found that once I try the pattern so I can understand the stitch pattern I end up re-writing the pattern in a simple and clearer format. Call me old school but putting in too many explanations in with the directions is just too confusing.
The variety of stitch patterns is very diverse and has some new stuff I'd never seen in any of my other books.
I used to teach knitting and would definitely used some of the stitch patterns in this book as a means of teaching techniques.
