This book is the avid knitter’s dream, with 52 original projects specially chosen for each season of the year. Unique garments and accessories are yours to be had or given away, each of them charming, useful, and simple enough to make in one week or less. Projects range in scale from sizable to small; some take a few balls of yarn while others can use up your remnants. They all have step-by-step instructions any knitter can follow. This is the perfect book for people who are on a budget and have limited time to knit.
"Popular designer Bliss presents a series of small, quick-knit projects. Most of the items are household goods, though there are a few accessories and baby garments. Beginners will enjoy the simple projects with attractive results, while advanced knitters will find relaxing ways to use up leftovers from their yarn stash."Library Journal

While the book has some beautiful patterns it fails to provide a difficulty level, and a yarn weight. The first pattern i chose to do ended up being 3 inches to wide and 5 inches to long, even though i used the stated needle size and yarn. I found this very frustrating because the pillow form i bought to fill it was way too small and could not give the pillow as a gift as i had planned. I would probably never do another pattern from this book again simply because my first pattern turned out so warped. i would not recommend purchasing this book. I know there are very few options for knitting books with decent looking patterns, but the issues involved with this book are not worth it.
