The projects range from bookmarks and dishcloths to color-work flags and a tartan pillow. Beginners will enjoy the simple projects with attractive results, while advanced knitters will find relaxing ways to use up leftovers from their yarn stash.

While the book has some beautiful patterns it fails to provide a difficulty level, and a yarn weight. The first pattern i chose to do ended up being 3 inches to wide and 5 inches to long, even though i used the stated needle size and yarn. I found this very frustrating because the pillow form i bought to fill it was way too small and could not give the pillow as a gift as i had planned. I would probably never do another pattern from this book again simply because my first pattern turned out so warped. i would not recommend purchasing this book. I know there are very few options for knitting books with decent looking patterns, but the issues involved with this book are not worth it.
