He makes every play look flashy when it is not. Hr always has something hurt to make him look awesome when he isn't any good. Dirk and Lebron are the best players in the NBA.

I've been a Laker fan for life but wasn't a big Kobe fan. I wouldn't call myself a hater but sure not my fav player. But, because this book was about the Lakers and also was described as being different, I tried it.
This book is totally worth it. Love my Nook!
The book is a fun and easy read. It's laid out with these principles. Not sure exactly how the 8 were picked but they are awesome.
You'll really get inside what makes Kobe tick.
This isn't a normal bio. Not at all. In fact, I was surprised how it was more about mental, physical and such rather than just Kobe's history. Kinda cool the way you're taken thru.
The quotes are great and inspiring. Makes you want to get better, at whatever you do.
My favorite part was learning about Kobe's workout schedule, diet and how hard he works.
Try it, you'll like it, especially if you like basketball and definetely if you like the Lakers.
Go LA!!

Overview
Strength & Honor. Not just words from the movie Gladiator but a code that NBA player and Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant seems to live by. He even signs fan letters with this mantra. That's because Kobe embodies everything that makes a real warrior.
“Veni. Vedi. Vici.” That phrase is Latin for “I came, I saw, I ...
