I am a practicing Roman Catholic and thought it was about Time I saw for my self what all the fighting was about. The principles of the Koran are not that different than the Bible and the New Testament. Woman hold a sacred role in Islam and they hold similsr sacred roles in all the other religions. In my faith women cannot be priests and in kosher forms of Judaism women are required to cover ther heads. I think the world should just sit down and look for the similaritiees of our faiths and stop the war mongoring that has been goinh on for centuries in the of GOD, (crusades), or AllAH (jihad). Maybe if we spent doing that we could spend less time building bombs.

As a Muslima I was shocked to see the Holy Quran is "by Mohammad". It is by "God/Allah". That would be like saying the bible is by Jesus. Please some consideration for accuracy.

An excellent and informative translation.  Many similarities exist in the OldTestament (Jewish), New Testament (Christian) and the Koran (Muslim).   We should be alert for them.  Good and bad exist in all religions.

I don't own this but a more informative and productive entry to "BY" would be the name of the translator. Mohammed is not said to have written the Koran. Translations by certain people are widely known and people would like to know this when buying it.
