Meet the Author

Married to my high school sweetheart, I live on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia surrounded by my children, grandbabies, and assorted animals. An avid gardener, my love of herbs and heirloom plants figures into my work. The rich history of Virginia, the Native Americans and the people who journeyed here from far beyond her borders are at the heart of my inspiration. In addition to American settings, I also write historical and time travel romances set in the British Isles, and nonfiction about gardening, herbal lore, and country life.

I loved this story! Romance set back in time with all the wonderful "visions" of a time gone by. A must read! Yes it is short but that takes nothing away from this story :)

All of Beth Trissel's books are well researched, beautifully written works of vivid living art.
The characters come alive and pull you in so that you are no longer reading a story...you're living it with them.

All of her leading men are they type of men you want to come to YOUR rescue.

I believe that, even though The Lady and the Warrior leaves you wanting more...it's enough.
It was a joy to read.

And the cover is beautifully done also. I love it!!
