About the Author

Author and once upon a time economist. The land of the left is my first attempt at some non-fiction. It details my travels thorugh various hot spots of left wing political thought to see what its like for the average citizen. Before setting off, I didn't know that electricity in Cuba was something that came and went as it pleased. I was unaware of the sparse beauty of the Russian steppes nor of the unassuming warmth of the Vietnames people. All in all it was a learning experience and the resulting story a pleasure to write. www.johnvflynn.com
