Pauline B. Jones is back with another terrific tale that will make readers want to savor each and every line. More suspenseful than her first book, THE LAST ENEMY still contains a large element of humor that really spices up this dynamite novel.

    Hold onto your seat!

I just finished reading The Last Enemy. Now I'm going back and start reading it all over again. It's that good--a keeper, an annual read. I was so caught up with the characters, so enmeshed in the plot, that I absolutely dreaded the climax. I found myself shaking in anticipation--I was wise to get a head start. As a writer I appreciate the pure talent and sheer hard work it took to create The Last Enemy. I want to write like that when I grow up.
