As always, Tiffany Reisz doesn't disappoint. However, reading chapter by chapter you lose the flow of the story. I probably won't buy another serial, even one by TR.

    The Last Good Knight
    By Tiffany Reisz

    Rating 4 Stars

The Last Good Knight: An Original Sinners novella told in five parts.

    Part I: Scars and Stripes

It's lust at first sight when Mistress Nora encounters a sexy newcomer to The 8th Circle. She's happy for the distraction, since she left her lover, Søren, but her session with Lance is cut short when her boss, Kingsley Edge, reveals they're all in danger….

    Part II: Sore Spots

With a potential stalker on the loose, Kingsley hires Lance as Nora's bodyguard, but stipulates no sex while he's on duty. Frustrated by the ex-SEAL's noble chivalry, Nora is driven to seek release with the one man she's trying to forget….

Part III: The Games Destiny Plays

Shocked to see Nora's bruises, Lance is furious that she put herself in danger and demands to know where she got them. As Nora confesses her true nature, she's equally shocked to learn that Lance has some secrets of his own, drawing them together despite Kingsley's orders…

With her feelings for Lance warring with her recent encounter with Søren, Nora returns to Lance's bed and finds herself toying with the idea of…toying with him on a permanent basis. But after she gets a glimpse into his personal angst, Nora realizes she has the power to rescue this white knight….

Part V: The Last Good Night

Now that the perpetrator has been apprehended, Nora sadly acknowledges she doesn't need a bodyguard anymore. She adores Lance and wants to keep him but is faced with a dilemma—if she uses her connections to help Lance, she'll have to give him up forever…

    My Thoughts:

I am a huge Tiffany Reisz fan, so I jumped at the chance to take part in this tour. The Last Good Knight is a five-part serial. I have decided to write my review as an overview of all five parts.

Tiffany is a freaking genius who continually brings such captivating, lust filled, freaking awesome stories. The Last Good Knight serial is another notch to add to her belt. Yes, they were quick reads, but Ms. Reisz never lacks in her story telling abilities. She has created such wonderful characters that we have all fallen in love with. Each book I read adds layers to each of those characters. This story is another layer added onto the onion of Nora's life.

Nora has always come across very independent and strong. She is sarcastic and rough around the edges, but everyone around her loves and respects her. This story gives us a sneak peek of Nora's softer side.

These stories take place after Søren and Nora ended their Dom/Sub relationship. She is working for Kingsley as a dominatrix and is feeling lonely after her sub is taken from under her nose by non other than Søren himself.

She has a chance encounter with a handsome man by the name of Lance. He is a newcomer to the 8th Circle and she is drawn to him immediately. It's too bad things get interrupted by some very distributing news.

Nora decides that she needs to keep her schedule even though her safety may be at risk. Kinglsey agrees to let her continue as long as she has protection with her every where she goes. That protection comes in the form of a SEXY Navy Seal.

Over the course of the stories you learn about Lance and how he ended up working for Kingsley. Nora and Lance struggle to keep their attraction for one another hidden and remain strictly professional.

Will Nora be able to have her cake and eat it too? You need to read to find out. :)

Not A Big Fan of Serials but Love the Original Sinners

I am a huge fan of Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series so I jumped at the chance to review her serial, The Last Good Knight, when it was posted on NetGalley. So far I've only had time to read the first part, Scars and Stripes, but I hope to have time to read and review the rest of the serial over the weekend. Thank the gods tax season is over! I can get back to reading again. Squee!

As with everything else set in the Original Sinners world, Scars and Stripes was full of hot BDSM goodness and had me itching for more. Lance is new to the world and I really liked him as well as his story line and the way his past played into the title of this portion of the serial. Getting a look at Nora in all her dominatrix glory (before The Siren) was awesome.

While I'm not a big fan of the serial format, as I loathe cliffhangers, I felt it works well for this. Do I want another full-length Original Sinners book? Oh. Hell. Yeah. But I'll enjoy every second of his serial while I can. It's gonna be a long wait for The Saint.
