Mistress Nora is no longer in any danger and has a new dilemma on her hands.  She no longer needs a bodyguard.  Lance has made an impact on her life.  She wishes to make a positive impact on his life. She wants to keep him or is at least contemplating the possibility.  She pondered what she could do to make his fondest wish come true.  She takes that leap to use her connections to acquire Lance the assistance that is needed to get what he wants most. Reisz makes her mark on the Original Sinner series and place things in Mistress Nora's life in clear focus.

Perfect Conclusion to the Original Sinners Serial The Last Good Night was the perfect conclusion to Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners serial, The Last Good Knight. Oh the feels. I has them. Lance just about broke my heart. I wanted more of him and for him. I really hope (at some point) we learn what happened to him after the events that took place in The Last Good Night. Having read Original Sinners: The Red Years, I ultimately knew that Mistress Nora and Lance wouldn't end up together but I still hoped they could work something out. Unfortunately, living the BDSM lifestyle isn't an option when dealing with child custody issues. I liked that Ms. Reisz acknowledged this and that is was inspiration for her to write The Last Good Knight. People living the BDSM lifestyle are often looked down upon for their desires. I'm a firm believer that if it's safe, sane, legal, and consensual, it isn't anybody's business but those involved. Sadly I'm sure that Lance's situation is very common. Fortunately for me, I'm child free and will never have my sexual desires thrown in my face in a court of law. *shudders at the thought* While I am still not a fan of the serial format and very seriously doubt I ever will be, I feel that Ms. Reisz is releasing The Last Good Knight in the best way possible. Each of the five parts will be released a day apart from May 6 through May 10. I could possibly deal with that though I still prefer having all the pieces awaiting me. Overall, I give the The Last Good Knight serial 4.5 stars. Some portions were better than other but all-in-all, it was a kick ass read. *eARC PROVIDED BY HARLEQUIN VIA NETGALLEY*
