These books are cheesy and there were so many missed opportunities for a better story, They just grazed over so many scenes that called for real drama. All their arguments ended with them making up 5 minutes later. Poor writing and cheesy dialogue. Who uses the term MY LOVE constantly? Two thumbs down.

I have to admit that I was really disappointed in this book. Eve

I have to admit that I was really disappointed in this book. Even though the first book had a good ending, this book is on repeat.

Repeated Plot: I really didn’t like this plot. This story picks up where the last one picked up and again were running in the same circle. The reader is one again faced with vague answers, lots of lies and a load of characters who motives are yet to be seen. Honestly, not even a quarter way through this book and I got weary of it fast. All I kept thinking was, “It will get better.” Did it? No.

Love: Zane and Lucky love is toxic. It’s one that I want revel in yet makes me angry All the disappearing, the mysterious people that show up, the vague answers make me feel like that Maroon 5 song, Just One More Night. Cause seriously, that’s is what I was telling myself. “Just one more chapter Savy. It’ll get better.” I don’t see how two people can fall in love in the midst of lies.

Ending: If you can believe it, I made it to the end. The last few chapters in the book really put together the bigger picture of what Zane was really hiding. Once all is revealed, I can understand his vagueness yet I’m still not happy about it. I think had there been better communication established between the characters, (I.E. Zane trusting Lucky or vice versa) maybe things could have gone better between them. I just feel there was a lot of unnecessary mess that didn’t need to happen. Because of the lies I couldn’t really connect to Zane or Lucky cause I felt like I don’t really know them. Just the front that the are putting up.

Overall, this book is a huge disappointment for me. It repeated the plot like a broken record and made me upset that the couple was still dealing with the same relationship issues as before. They couldn’t move on or grow because of the lies or questions that were not answered. Should you decide to read the book I proceed with caution. This story is filled with loads of emotions. The Last Husband is okay.

could get any better, this book is full of suprises, mystery and love. The story started where book one ended, this
story we get to see how zane and lucky's love for each other grows and we get to know more about zane.
J.s cooper really outdid herself in this series and I think she's one of the authors who can surpass her own best-
seller and create a new one.

    OMG...

My mind is still reeling after finishing The Last Husband.

I am kinda sorta speechless right now, but wow. I can't believe what I just read. On a side note I knew what was going to happen because I accidentally read a spoiler on JS's Facebook. But it's okay I was still somewhat shocked and surprised!

Lucky and Zane are a great couple. I really enjoyed being able to read from both of their POVs. For once I actually enjoyed the POV being told from the guy side. Zane is a man of mystery and even though we find out why he acts the way he does, I just loved being able to read into his mind. You saw how much he really loves Lucky even though he still has struggles and secrets.

So many things I want to say but I am afraid I would spoil so much. I leave you with this, The Last Husband is a must read!

Would I recommend the book? Um hell yes!
It's romantic, funny, and somewhat mysterious. I loved the first book but the second book might have taken first place.

I have recieved this book as an arc for an honest review. Now in saying that I will give my review!

Lucky and Zane continue where they were in The Last Boyfriend. Each chapter keeps you wanting more and not wanting to be interrupted or have to put it down. You get to see Zane and Lucky's point of view and give you a lot of insight. Between them they test honesty love and there relationship. You can feel there emotions pouring through the pages. I laugh and cried with these charactes and was mad and confused with them also. You hear more about Brayden, Noah, and Angelique.

This book is a must read. You will love every moment of it!

I was given an Arc for and honest review.

I think I fell in love with Zane even more. Zane and Lucky's story was a true love story. This book was only not about love. It had twist and turns, drug dealers and even a surprise or two. There were surprises in this book that I didn't see coming. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. J.S. Cooper has out done herself once again.

    OH MY FREAKIN WOW!

This book was so amazing. I can't wait to read more. This story was such an amazing sequel to My Last Boyfriend. The sexual chemistry between Lucky & Zane is off the charts HOT. The story had me laughing one minute and crying the next. The ending was such a surprise. I found myself crying from happiness. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I liked this one better than the first one. This book answered a lot of the questions I had from book one and ones I didn't even think of and then even gave us some surprises. My main struggle with this book at times was the dialog, I had a hard time knowing who was saying what and would have to go back a page to see if I could figure it out or go back to the start of that chapter to see whose POV I was in.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, it doesn't get any better than The Last Husband. Zane is dealing with some insecurity issues in his relationship with Lucky. He is plagued with dreams of his dead brother, Noah and his mother who deserted him as a child. Of course, it doesn't help that Leeza, Lucky's roommate is telling her that she doesn't know Zane as well as she thinks. Lucky is a naturally suspicious person since she has been used by men before. As they are visiting Sidney and Betty, the subjects of the Civil Rights documentary, they reveal that Noah was like a son to them. Sidney also gives Lucky information that could change Zane's life forever. Through this all their relationship becomes stronger by the day.

I absolutely LOVED this book and everything about it. Zane is such a goofy and loving man that is so confused in his relationship with Lucky. He is an over protective and over bearing person who loves her with all of his heart even though he has a hard time admitting it. Lucky is so innocent and giving in their relationship that she is consumed by it.

Things are definitely not what they seem in The Last Husband and I was shocked by everything that was revealed. There were parts where I laughed and several parts where I cried but I really enjoyed this book. You can't go wrong with a book by Cooper but now I am really anxious about the next book. I can't wait to see what happens next with these two and another character that was "introduced".

The Last Husband picks up where The Last Boyfriend left off. Lucky and Zane are passionate and clearly meant to be. J.S. Cooper takes you on a journey into their relationship. You find yourself wanting to scream at Zane several times. This book is a home run because it shows the doubts, fights, and insecurities that exist in a real relationship. Not every couple has a smile plastered on their face and go on perfect dates. This is why J.S. Cooper is one of my favorite authors. Great Job!!! Can't wait for the next one.

The Last Husband is a passion! ate and intense emotional rollerc

The Last Husband is a passion! ate and intense emotional rollercoaster that shows the depths of two people’s feelings for one another. Lucky and Zane are tested yet again in the sequel to The Last Boyfriend. Lucky must decide if Zane is the man that she wants to spend forever with, and Zane must open up and learn to trust Lucky with his heart.

From the first page you are thrown into a world of passion, sensual delights, emotional storms, and blossoming love that almost borders on obsession. Beyond the passion the way that Lucky and Zane interact: the joking, teasing, and comfortableness that they have with one another is something worth envying. Once you start reading The Last Husband you will not want to put it down! You will laugh, you will cry, you will moan, and you will sigh. This story will take you through a rainbow of feelings that will leave you breathless. It is a story you will never forget!

This story takes place right after The Last Boyfriend ends. That's really great in my opinion because there were so many unanswered questions from the end of Boyfriend that were able to be answered in this book.

The drama that had taken place in Boyfriend was still there in this book, but it was toned down a bit I think. There was more focus on Zane and Lucky's relationship, the present and the future, than anything else in this book. While Zane was still battling with his past, he was able to learn how to lean on Lucky to help him during the tough times. To me, that shows that Zane has grown as a character because he is able to accept help.

Lucky's character was still her typical self, her comebacks, her fears, everything. I didn't really see that much of a change in her as there was in Zane. While she was dealing with her issues, she was also trying to help out Zane with what was going on with him.

The twists that were in this book caught me off guard. But now thinking back, I should have seen it!! But overall, I think this book was well done, and I can't wait to find out more from this group of characters in the future!
