Totally awesome! Excellent job to the author, knowledge of the streets and what is truly going on in them can't be faked. This novel was over 900 pages of drama, love, war, and the simple struggle to survive. The way the characters were intermingled was pure genius, I kept going back to re-read to make sure what I was reading was really happening! It was like you having to keep rewinding certain parts of your favorite movie cause you have to see it over and over, each time you love it even more. Even though Roy put down some lowdown situations, I was so sad to read he was murdered. I felt like I could see him and Jazzman ride off into the sunset together. I was more bothered with what happened to Roy than the way Isis ended up, ain't that a mess! Though doing so illegally, I was so proud to see the fight of a true mama bear come out in Jazzman. True women are defined by grinding (whatever it may be) to provide for their kids. The way it ended I know there is more to come and I, personally can't wait! OK, stop procrastinating- BUY THE BOOK, clear your schedule because you won't be able to put it down and it is not a quick or lite read. LaQuarn, you set the bar now you got to continue to reach it, good luck!
