Overview

Is ancient history crying out to America?

History is cyclical, so to figure out what's in store for us, we need to look into the past. Only then we will find that The Last Parallel is a finely tuned telescope to help us focus on our future.

History has left some easy tracks for us to follow. Kings, with self-serving agendas, turned from God though they were warned by prophets to seek God and obey his commandments. A house divided will fall, and mighty Israel was no exception. Their kings didn't heed the warnings, and inevitably their kingdoms fell.

Today in the United States, our political sides of right and left are as far away as the North is from South. Each side is self-serving. Some of these politicians and their associates wholeheartedly believe that the ends justify the means in getting what they want at any cost. Our country, once embracing of the Judeo-Christian principles to worship God, now tries to confine him to a box on Sunday.

Are our prideful political leaders dooming us for destruction? Is ancient history crying out faster than our government can put a spin on it? Is America destined to experience the same end as ancient Israel?
