Every path has a destination. Brain Haynes wants to take parents down the path of intentional spiritual parenting. This is a very practical read for parents striving to leave a spiritual legacy written from the heart of a pastor as well as the transparency of a father in the midst of the journey.

We all want to make the most of the time we have with our children. As Christian parents, we long to pass on a biblical faith to our children that will trickle into the generations to come. We desire to help our children know the Bible and follow Christ while living in a world that values neither. The question is how? I am not a parenting expert. Consider me a fellow sojourner who is struggling to be a godly, biblically driven, husband and parent. As as pastor, I have the privilege of working with all types of families and learning from their experiences. Whether they have a brand new baby, four kids and a dog, high school students, or kids that have grown up and left home; broken, blended, single traditional, whatever . . . they all have a common need. They need a plan for influencing their children biblically. The Legacy Path is just that. It is a plan for intentional spiritual parenting. I have been equipping parents to walk this path for years now and I have seen first hand how God meets families that intentionall pursue Him in every day of life. The Legacy Path is bigger than just our kids. The journey you are about to take is likely to impact many generations to come. I want my children and my grandchildren and their children to set their hope in God. I am discovering now how we lead our chidren now matters even to the generations we will never know. That simple truth astounds me.
