Imagine the son of the greatest legendary Irish hero (an Irish Hercules) growing up on the hills and valleys in modern Ireland where his father once roamed. Applying traditional Irish myth and legend, this book finds the son of Cuchulainn growing up in modern Ireland. Blessed with some of the physical skills and abilities that made his father a champion Ferdia, the son of Cuchulainn (called Brian by his adopted parents), was bred to be a warrior and must cope with the challenges of the modern world. Brian applies his skills to the athletic fields, and in this, the first of a series, a new legend is born.
