Fascinating behind-the-scenes peak at the series.

This is a really interesting book about how the series came about and was filmed. It includes information about the actors, characters, author, writers and background. Without giving away any plots, the book looks at what life was like in the fifties in that part of London. I highly recommend this book of you like the series.

    A real keeper-highly recommended!

A wonderful book! It not only gives you a major glimpse behind this charming and touching series but a real "feel" for the local and time frame. If possible, it makes you appreciate the series even more!
