Meet the Author

Fred G. Baker is a hydrologist living in Colorado. He gained his interest in science, history, storytelling and chess from his father. He is the author of Growing Up Wisconsin, The Descendants of John Baker (ca. 1640-1704) of Hartford, Connecticut, through Thirteen Generations, and Light From A Thousand Campfires (with Hannah Pavlik).
