Meet the Author

At the age of twenty three, while pregnant with her third child, Maisey Yates sold her first manuscript to Harlequin Presents. She was very glad that the good news didn't send her into labor!
Maisey lives with her supportive, handsome, husband and three children in Southern Oregon. She enjoys the contrast of living in a place where you might wake up to find a bear on your porch, then heading into her home office to write stories that take place in exotic, urban locales.

It was too short to develop any real depth to the characters and I was unimpressed with the writing style. I will not seek any of this author's books in the future and am glad that this was free and I didn't pay for it.

    good book

Tai and Angelina had sex one night. And now she is pregnant with Taj's baby. Now they have married . They got married. She was having morning sickness at all times. They didn't marry after all at the end of this novel. I enjoyed reading this novel. ShelleyMA

    Decent read.

Short story, not a lot of depth in the characters. Didn't really feel the story and plot was predictable. Writing style was simple and straight forward, not too much depth.

An acceptable way to spend an afternoon

This is purported to be some sort of a prequel. It was a glimpse into a life most of us will never see: the monied lives in the Mid-East. It was a nice story with the right amount of tension and worth a read.
