I think this collection may be the best one yet.  Each of the six authors give us such wonderful characters that we really do not want their stories to end.  I enjoyed this book and look forward to more collections like this.
Babs Book Bistro - Barbara Hightower

A great collection for stories and lighthouses.  I enjoyed all the stories they were remarkably well done.  I can not pinpoint one I like over the others as I loved them all.  We knew woman could be lighthouse keepers too back in the day and find romance.  That was the best part about some of these stories.  Women had a more active role than just sitting back and having the men take care of them.
NetGalley - Joleen Graumann

I will recommend this book to readers who would like a collection of quick reads that they can pick up here and there. It's good for readers who only have short intervals for reading and don't have time to delve into a full-bodied story and adventure.

Six authors team up in their new book, “The Lighthouse Brides Collection” published by Barbour Publishing Inc. to give us 6 Romances Develop at Historic Light Stations. From the back cover:  Love reaches lonely lightkeepers For a ship in danger, a lighthouse offers hope and security. For the characters in this special collection of six stories, Gods light burns as brightly as the life-saving beacons they tend–but it is a lonely job, requiring much personal sacrifice. Six historic American lighthouse settings from Florida to Oregon, Massachusetts to Texas, North Carolina to Wisconsin come to life in these faith-filled romances. When Love Awaits by Lynn A. Coleman Phantom of My Heart by DiAnn Mills A Beacon in the Storm by Andrea Boesharr Safe Harbor by Paige Winship Dooly Whispers Across the Blue by DiAnn Mills A Time to Love by Sally Laity Journey through simpler times and watch as God brings together adventurous-but lonesome-souls under a beacon of hope. I have always enjoyed Lighthouses.  First, their function, to provide a light in the darkness to prevent a disaster.  Second their engineering beauty, I think each one of them is a design of wonder.  So now we have “The Lighthouse Brides Collection” and I feel that the authors captured the design and beauty of the building and each of them wrote it into their stories.  Six stories about Lighthouses, the men who tend them and the women who fall in love with them from all across America.  I think this collection may be the best one yet.  Each of the six authors give us such wonderful characters that we really do not want their stories to end.  I enjoyed this book and look forward to more collections like this.
