About the Author

Mike is known for being one of the pioneering trailblazers of inspirational speakers and leadership development trainers of his generation. As a Husband, Father, Entrepreneur, Author, and Master Life Coach, he has a drive and passion to assist others in maximizing their true potential in life. Born and raised in Flint, MI, Mike is no stranger to enduring and overcoming challenging times. From unemployment to evictions, to financial depletion and criticism from all walks of life, to say the least, has proven as a training ground for Mike to develop fortitude and willpower to endure and soar through the storms of life that we all face.
Mike has been acknowledged as an educational leader and mentor for youth across the U.S. as he commits his time and God-given gift to ignite the fire within the masses of young and older individuals. He has been a regular speaker for a branch of the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Job Corps Center to train on Leadership Development, Character/Relationship Development, and Essential Life Skills to help increase their value in the marketplace. His philosophy is “When you’re living in your purpose, there’s no such thing as competition.” By applying the very leadership principles he teaches in his own life, he began his career as an Elementary School teacher at the age of 19, later becoming a School Principal at the age of 25.

As an Entrepreneur, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Mike holds his Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education of Interdisciplinary Studies and will soon be completed with earning his Masters in Executive Leadership. Alongside his wife, they own and operate several businesses, including LewLegacy LLC, a consulting hub that helps with everything from Leadership development for both individual and small/large businesses to Beauty consulting for women. Mike has written several books and manuals including Cultivating Potential Within Purpose. He is also the founder of the Millennial Leadership Academy, an online digital course that centers around helping others discover and live out their life’s purpose.

Mike and his lovely wife Jaquail go about their daily lives seeking to help others achieve their goals and desires, spiritually, emotionally, and in business. They live in Richmond, TX.
