'It will lift your tschink with tschunk!' -James Joyce, Ulysses

No matter how technologically advanced we become, nothing will replace the value of traditional wisdom. Your computer can't tell you whether the time is right to make a career change or take a vacation--but this book can, and does with timeless eloquence drawn from literature's rich history. The answers are by turns serious, satirical, silly, and ironic. One of the best things about the book is that while Bolt represents the best of literature's 'dead white men', Bolt has also included many female authors and many non-white authors. When you have temporarily exhausted your cache of current questions, it's fun to simply read through the anthology. This book will delight people who already love literature and also those who feel a lack of literature in their lives. In this computer age of ours, it's $15 well spent.
