I used to have constant pain in my hip and back. After 4 weeks of strength/ab training that pain is gone. Nothing else, not yoga, not stretching, nothing was working, but this did. The book gives five different workouts, increasing in difficulty, all focussed on strengthening the core (torso, back, stomach, hips) and toning the abs. The excercises are really fun and easy to follow. No more boring crunches!

This book is presented in a very easy to read, informative format, yet it is entertaining. I found the book motivating, as it gives you the necessary background to get you started on a regular abs routine. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. No ubelievable claims, no stupid equipment, just factual, well-written advice on how to strengthen and tone your abs. This book is great. I just had a baby and I'm getting back in shape and I can already see the results thanks to the exercises in this book. The abs are more complicated than you think, but this book makes it easy to work the various muscle groups. The book itself is a very easy read, good diagrams and instructions, not overwhelming like lots of other books on working out. Just like that Little Yoga book which I also love, this Little Abs book is a MUST HAVE and a great stocking stuffer, and now I realize a PERFECT baby shower gift for your girlfriends who like to be in shape! Was this review helpful?
