Here is the ultimate aid for the modern woman. There was a time when knowing the location of the circuit breaker box was man's work. Not now. Women need to know an Allen wrench from a philip's head screwdriver and a chuck key from a drill bit. Assembling flat pack furniture, fixing shelves to walls are all men's work for women. This brilliant little book explains it all. Packed full of tips, useful facts, and quick fixes, it's the ultimate guide to every home improvement job.

    A Great Gift Idea

What a great gift idea for the home handywoman! From the essentials in every toolbox to the straight story about cordless power tools, this little book is a gem of helpful hints for the beginner. How do you know how much wallpaper you'll need to cover a room or go about replacing a cracked and squeaky floorboard? Is tile or stone a good flooring solution and do those strange little cracks in the walls add character to your home or signal real trouble? How many repairs can you safely handle yourself and when is it time to call in the experts?

This is an excellent resource for a single woman, trying to handle a few simple construction and decorating projects on her own. An excellent gift idea.
