Overview

"The Little Dragon" follows a girl wishing to fly like everyone else is on their own dragons. When she receives her dragon, it turns out it is too small and it cannot hold her weight. The two of them go on a journey to fix the problem, encountering moments of tests along the way.

This book reflects of the authors four years as an undergraduate and young artist. Throughout those years learning to appreciate where she is at and the process of growth, overcoming self-comparison to those around her. Whether that be in her artistic skills or current state of life.

Through the process of hand illustration, digital scanning and editing, this book is the start of a young illustrator trying to find her place in the world.

About the Author

Emma Mae Shoaff is a recent graduate from Messiah University and a Dreamer in every sense of the word. Her
art creates a whimsical atmosphere and she writes to inspire. Since a child, she has always liked to storytell, yet
it wasn't until college she decided to pair her stories with her passion for art and design. As of right now, she is
not sure where this path will take her; however, she looks forward to the adventure.
