Feet Don't Fail Me Now
[The foot is] a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art.
— LEONARDO DA VINCI
Unfortunately, most of us don't think so highly of our feet. In fact, we don't think of them at all until they hurt.
The feet are one of the most abused and neglected parts of the body. They support our weight, they get crammed into high-heeled shoes, they take a pounding when we walk, dance, play sports, or stand on them all day long. They get hot, sweaty, itchy, and smelly. It's no wonder that 80 percent of Americans will have a foot problem in their lifetimes.
SO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR YOUR FEET LATELY?
Look around your bathroom, and you're likely to see several different hand lotions, shampoos, face creams, face scrubs, toners, cotton balls, and all the other products you use to keep your hands and face looking great. But what about your feet? They need attention, too.
In The Little Foot Care Book you'll learn how spending just a few minutes a day caring for your feet can help you feel good and prevent many common foot problems. It's true that if your feet feel good, you'll feel good. Your feet affect your balance, posture, and ability to be active. They contain thousands of nerve endings, and often your feet are indicators of overall health. Some illnesses, like arthritis, diabetes, or circulatory diseases, often first display symptoms in the feet.
Taking care of your feet is not difficult or time-consuming. In the amount of time it takes to apply hand lotion or wash your face, you can pamper your feet. The LittleFoot Care Book is loaded with information on foot soaks, lotions, scrubs, massages, stretches, and more. Your feet will thank you for reading this book. After all, few things feel more luxurious than a soothing lavender foot soak or an invigorating peppermint foot massage at the end of a long day.
