The Little Lamb by Phoebe Dunn

The Little Lamb is one of my 18-month-old grandson's two favorite books. The other is Goodnight Moon. At this point, I more or less tell the story by following the pictures but read the actual text where it works. He loves the book and knows what is happening in all of the pictures and, of course, wants to read it several times each time. He especially likes the picture on the title page where the lambs are with their mother. By "reading" the book this way, he will continue to enjoy it as he grows and is able to sit still for all of the words.
