Myers- "This has changed my life like you would never believe...It's amazing, when you know you look good without anyone having to tell you...I don't know the last time I felt tired. My five year old told me on Sunday that she loves the fact that I don't get tired quickly now when I play with her...My friends all want to know what diet I am on, so I had to tell them I am not on a diet, I have just changed my lifestyle." -Carol Coppin ". . . if you could see a picture of my inside, my mindset, my happiness, my total being, YOU WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE ME from 12 weeks ago. I Believe it was my own work that got me where I am today BUT you gave me the keys toopen the toolbox." -Betsy Haley

Author Biography: In 1996, New York City big-firm lawyer, Jonathan Fields, walked out of his six-figure, high-stakes law practice and never looked back. Drawing upon two decades as a rock climber, competitive gymnast and outdoor athlete, Fields pursued certification as a Health/Fitness Instructor from the American College of Sports Medicine and added expertise in a wide range of activities from pre/post-natal fitness to kickboxing. Fields then launched Sedona Private Fitness, a spa-like, adult lifestyle change center that quickly grew into one of the most successful private training centers in the country. There, he guided the programs of hundreds, from media-megastars to CEOs to soccer moms. In 1999, yearning to refocus his efforts in New York City, Fields sold his interest in Sedona, founded his lifestyle consulting firm, the Envision Group, and began work on an intensive lifestyle transformation program that treats people with intelligence, breaks free of all the nonsense and empowers them to completely reinvent their bodies and health. In just the first two weeks after its release, nearly 1,400 people enrolled in this outrageous 84-day experience. With the publication of The Long Hard Fix, now hundreds of thousands will share in its impact. Fields also speaks professionally, has written for national fitness magazines and recently launched the wildly-irreverent DietsSuck.com, an online escape to share the funniest, most off-the-wall stories about diet.

WOW! Great info on diet success!

This book is really quite amazing. Not like any other diet or exercise or fitness book I have read. The author really makes you understand how to 'flip the switch' in your mind that actually lets you STICK TO a diet or exercise program. It's not just a bunch of pep-talk motivation, but a step by step process that left me more jazzed about a program than I've ever been. Also, Fields' philosophy on finding exercise that is FUN, not horribly boring, is great and the nutrition advice is wonderfully simple to follow. I loved this book!
