Rev. B. R. Hicks is the founder and President of Christ Gospel Churches International, Inc. a world-wide church located in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Before the Christian world commonly accepted women ministers, Rev. Hicks felt called to preach, a call she resisted because in her day, women were not supposed to be leaders. She persevered past many obstacles to share a love for studying the Bible. Without setting out to do so, she built her own Christian organization and over time has published over 100 books.
