Overview

This application is recommended for ages 6+.

Grandma was right.

Nobody really believed her. Not even you, her favorite grandchild.

But she was right. And more so than you could ever imagine.

The city before you, deep in the mist shrouded forest, can't be found on any map. It shouldn't even exist. Though it's been asleep for a long time, you feel a mysterious power begin to awaken from the ruins around you.

Legend has it the civilization that built this place could somehow control the seasons. But nobody listens to legends.

Nobody except Grandma.

And she was right.

You look again at the artifact she gave you. Close to this lost city, it almost seems alive in your hand.

The city does exist. It's real.

Could the secret magic, powerful enough to change the seasons, be real too?

Beautifully done and very enjoyable. My only request to the developers would be an interactive map for games with this many locations. Not sure if that's possible in this format but with a sprawling game like this it would make things easier. Length is good, and puzzles etc are well done.

This was alot of fun! The hints are helpful if you get stumped. I would like to see more games like this available for nook.

This is a fun game. I enjoyed both this game and Grisly Manor. I was stumped a few times but overall the game was fun and a good stimulation for your brain. I hope more games like this become available for the nook.

This app was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please make another. I would suggest a haunted house mystery. Or a murder in a grave yard or something. If you agree, hit yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this game. Spent the entire weekend playing it. Was really sick and it kept my mind off the flu with finding the many items in all the gorgeous scenes. Just wish there had been a few more pieces in each site. I must have visited each one dozens of times checking. Want more like this!

My gaming experience is pretty much limited to solitaire, sudoku, and logic solving. It was a stretch for me to take a chance on this kind of game because I'm easily turned off by the tedium of learning something new. I got Grisly Manor first and absolutely loved the simplicity, graphics, detail, logic solving.... The fun was definitely worth the money and made me a loyal Fire Maple fan. When I finished that game, I couldn't wait to try Lost City. WOW. From the beginning of the opening scene to the very end, this game exceeded my expectations in every way! Too much to love! . Gorgeous graphics and animations . Lovely relaxing music . Simple, easy game navigation . Original, compelling puzzles and logic problems . Love the four-seasons theme! My only suggestion for improvement would be to spice up the conclusion. Fire Maple could cinch this market if they make the "payoff" scenes as rich and dynamic as the in-game scenes: more animation, light, landscape...maybe even incorporate animation of the four statues. Please, please release more games. I'm going to immediately purchase similar games from other companies, but if Fire Maple meets demand in the future, I'll stick my money with them instead!

Make sure u look at each flower. As u can see each flower has a different number of leaves. Make the flowers with one leaf red, the flowers with two leaves bule, and the flowers with three leaves green. This took me forever to figure out, but I promise u that this is the correct answerto the floating box. :)

My son and I loved Grisly Manor and have been waiting for The Lost City. We were not dissapointed. We had the best time solving it. Great game!!! We are waiting for the next one! Please don't post any clues. If we could do it on our own, so can you.

I love the game but I am becoming very frustrated with it. The hint guide is telling me to use rope to decend into the well but it will not let me do that. Anyone else having this problem?

I love Fire Maple Games, and this game does not disappoint!! I had to use huge restraint when I got stuck to not use the hint guide. I almost wish it did not come with one! The graphics are stunning and the game play was addicting and fun. It ran perfect on the Nook, no problems at all. Barely any battery drain too. Hope there are more to come from FMG!

Well, the graphics are very nice. However, the developers, spending so much time writing the game, apparently they forgot that new players need some directions on how to play. I do play a lot of electronic games, but this game is NOT intuitive in any way. There are NO directions or explanation of gameplay. If you can move a couple screens in, you can access 'hints' that really are useless, since most of them referred to places and items that you can't get to. If they would add some instructions it would maybe be better. This is being written in June 2012, so good luck waiting for instructions. I vote pass on this one until they look at it from the PLAYER point of view. What a shame.
