Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
The parable attributed to Jesus is retold in this board book. Specifically, it states of his and God's joy when one who is lost to God returns; "There is more happiness in heaven when one is found and brought back home than over ninety-nine that are already safe." It might make one think that wandering off the path of goodness only to return and be forgiven is a better way to live than being good and righteous all ones life. Certainly a question to ponder. This board book and others in the "My Very First Bible Stories" series are appropriate for Christian homes, schools, and churches. There is a brief glossary at the back of the book. 2005, Good Books, Ages 1 to 5.
