This is truly an amazing book of theology for children. From the very first page, the author takes God's word and reformats it into enchanting rhymes that will mesmerize any child. It will not only entertain them, but will help them hide God's word in their hearts and give them an understanding of many major Biblical events. The illustrations are delightful and the Scripture reference and discussion question make this book a teaching tool as well. Book Bargains and Previews (5 stars)

The Love That is True: The Adventure of God’s Love Through All Time” is a beautiful illustrated Christian story of creation with discussion questions and Bible references on each page. Designed for children ages 3-10, “The Love That Is True” presents vivid portraits of scriptural information, stressing the power of love and forgiveness, and ends with an appealing score of a piano vocal song of the same title as the book. I love this book, it’s a beautiful yet a simple message of love. It’s not only for children, but for us all. I love the message , the colors and how it just draws you in. What a great reminder of how much God loves us, and that we should love each other. I am looking forward to reading this to my grandchildren.

But, it is more than that. The author starts the book by describing the time before the Creation. He tells readers God "wanted to share The Love That Is True," so he created the universe and all that is in it. The text continues with the stories of Adam and Eve, Jesus' birth and his life, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. The book ends with the good news that when our life on earth is over, we will share "God's love: The Love That Is True. (4 stars)
