The Lunar Antics Boy, I'd Hate to Be Made Out of that Stuff is a wonderful compilation of thought provoking, funny, and real life commentaries.

I have been a fan of The Lunar Antics for some years and was delighted to discover the new book, Boy, I'd Hate to Be Made Out of that Stuff was coming out. Imagine the search for extraterrestrial life being answered by an alien walking up and saying, "Like Beep!" Thus are Zeno, Zed, Linda, and Drusus (inhabitants of the Moon) introduced to Professor Jones. The comics in this volume poke fun at everything from love, politics, advertising jingles, and alien invasion movies. In one of the Sunday strips Zeno describes how they would take over the world by becoming politicians, running up massive deficits, and making the humans fight each other until the Earth could be taken over without a fight. The Professor asks if they aren't already following that plan and Zeno states, "No, those are self-inflected wounds." To me the mark of a great work is its ability to raise questions and I have used a number of the Lunar Antic comics in my university level history classes in order to encourage discussion among the students. The Lunar Antics never fail to make me think and laugh. I highly recommend Boy, I'd Hate to Be Made Out of that Stuff to anyone who enjoys a good thought provoking laugh.

Lunar Funnies - Entertaining, Creative and Witty

Lunar Antics is an outer space experience: witty, intelligent, entertaining, and a regular planetary mood enlightener. This is a book that transcends the traditional comic stip and brings a smile to your face and a break from the mundane comic read. Enjoy. A great gift for children and adults alike.

Funny out loud laughing, poking fun at us humans and our foibles.

    Great Entertainment!

The Lunar Antics Presents: BOY,I'D HATE TO BE MADE OUT OF THAT STUFF! is an amazingly funny (as in hilarious) look at humans as seen through the eyes of a small group of aliens. The aliens poke fun at the humans at all turns, revealing to us all of our idiosyncrasies. The graphics are superb, the writing is "out of this world," and laughter is the result.
I have been reading The Lunar Antics webcomic for years. It is one of my favorites, and I read, literally, hundreds of comics a day. You might call me a connoisseur (or, perhaps, an addict).
BOY,I'D HATE TO BE MADE OUT OF THAT STUFF! is well worth reading and well worth the price.

Great Book for Geeks, Nerds, Trekkers, and the rest of us!

Walters has a great way of taking the inanities of life and turning them on their side. The Professor and his moon friends are the kind of folks I'd like to hang around. Zeno, Zed, and Linda are joined by others, one of my favorites being "Life's Little Ironies." I read this cover to cover when it arrived and have paged back through every day. And I laugh every time. The world needs more Lunar Antics.

Boy, I'd Hate To Be Made Out Of That Stuff

Incredibly funny, laughed until my sides hurt. Walters must be hanging around my family, some of the characters are so familiar, especially Zeno and the Professor. Left the book on the coffee table over the holidays and it received a great response from all ages. I will be ordering several for myself and gifts to many of my wacky family and friends. Can't wait until the next one.
