The lying industry... How do we understand alternative media?
There are many means that work to shape individuals' awareness, and the media has the greatest ownership because of the information it provides to individuals and the formation of public opinion. Here appears the problem of the false information that is disseminated through the new media, and this information drowning that cannot conclusively verify its credibility. Among the methods available to form the political culture of individuals are electronic newspapers and social networking sites, which include freedom of practices in the sense of flow of news. Recently, the number of individuals using these sites has increased. Awareness among individuals is not to the same degree, but rather varies from one person to another as a result of many factors, and this awareness is what shapes their culture in general and their political culture in particular, and it is an intertwined process. Just as the media works on the psychological, social, and age variables of individuals, at the same time Individuals turn to the communication material that suits their ideas and trends. Here we point out that the new media has put the formation of awareness and culture in a crisis. We cannot accurately determine whether information flooding on social networking sites and the diversity of opinions contribute to the formation of individuals' awareness, or is it the ideologies embraced by individuals that guide them? Thus sharing certain communication materials and another thesis may create more intellectual contradictions.
