This is the fourth book in a series of basic math books using the well known candy as a teaching tool. At the top of the page is a couplet that presents the skills being taught. These include counting, estimating and addition of single and double digits. At the bottom of the page is a more detailed explanation of the mathematical concept. Using the popular candy is a unique method for illustrating math for kids. It is sure to be an enjoyable way for them to learn about math. The brightly colored drawings are large with easily readable numerals. Subtraction is cleverly introduced near the end of the book by showing that the candy is "taken away" when it is eaten.
