A Definitive Study of a Historical Icon.

If you have searched to find an information source covering the M1 Garand, you may already know some of the facinating history of this WW2 battle rifle. What a treat you are in store for with Mr. Duff's book! His extensive research delves deeply into every component, development and issue concerning the Garand as it was used in WW2. The archives of the Springfield Armory were scoured for the benefit of the rifle collector. The issue of a revised second edition reflects the authors commitment to providing historically accurate and informative data. The book is cleanly laid out and easy to follow. An excellent work for the novice militaria collector.
