Meet the Author

William King was born in Stranraer, Scotland, in 1959. His short stories have appeared in 'The Year's Best SF', 'Zenth', 'White Dwarf' and 'Interzone'.

He has travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, but he currently lives in Prague. His works for Black Library include the first seven Gotrek & Felix novels, the tale of Ragnar Blackmane and the forthcoming Tyrion and Teclis trilogy

This book finally show Warhammer 40k fans what the life of a Imperial Guard soilder is like. Also it gives you a good look at one of Imperium's best and most famous commander, Macharian. This man is on a great crusade to reconquer of the Emperior's fallen worlds. But his crusade a stop on the world Karsk V, a world that revoles completely on a prophet called the Angel of Fire. The Macharian has to fight way through heretics, evil psykers, and even daemons to finaly kill this foul monster called the Angel of Fire.
