Overview

Are Christians just kidding themselves? Are believers wasting their lives serving an imaginary friend in the clouds? And do Christians even have the courage to confront the hard questions about God’s existence?

Carl Gallups does, and readers should be prepared for a gut-wrenching, exciting, and finally inspiring journey in his new blockbuster of Christian apologetics, The Magic Man in the Sky. Gallups directly addresses the doubts and fears of young Christians in a hostile culture. Seamlessly combining insights from history, quantum physics, and Scripture itself, Gallups addresses the existence of the divine, biblical truth, evolution, the path to salvation, and the meaning of life. He also tells how Christians can fearlessly and effectively defend their faith and take the Good News to an unbelieving world. In a time of doubt and darkness, Gallups brings a confident and joyful message that God loves us, life has a purpose, and best of all, he can prove it.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Carl Gallups has created a work as unique as the man himself. The danger of studying biblical apologetics is that all too often it creates an environment as sterile and strange as a surgical room. Though vitally needed, these books tend to be complicated, rarely enjoyable, and more than a little intimidating. In The Magic Man in the Sky, Carl Gallups takes the reader into a real world setting to which he can easily relate. The book flows, as does life, through the telling of a story. - Dr. Dennis Brunet (Ph.D.) Adjunct Professor - New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Senior Pastor - Midway Baptist Church Midway, Florida — http://ppsimmons.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-book-destroys-atheist-worldview.html

Congratulations for producing such a spiritual book. America needs to go back to its Judeo-Christian foundations that the Left and so called Liberals have been trashing for almost 50 years. God bless you. -Ibn Q. Rassooli - Author of best selling book - LIFTING THE VEIL: The True Faces of Muhammad and Islam — http://ppsimmons.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-book-destroys-atheist-worldview.html

A long time ago in a galaxy not far away, ignorant folks believed in spontaneous generation, wrongly thinking that life simply jumped out of non-living matter. As Carl Gallups so rightly shows us, those people are still around today. They're called atheists. -Joe Kovacs, bestselling author of The Divine Secret and Shocked by the Bible — http://ppsimmons.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-book-destroys-atheist-worldview.html

Few authors articulate the intellectual condition of the church as clearly and effectively as does Carl Gallups in his new book, The Magic Man in the Sky. Compelling story telling, careful construction of thought, and solid theological foundations provide one of the best defenses of a biblical world view currently available. I solidly endorse Gallups' work. -Mark Foley, Ph.D. President, University of Mobile — http://ppsimmons.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-book-destroys-atheist-worldview.html

Carl Gallups is quickly emerging as one of the most passionate, courageous and stimulating Christian radio talk-show hosts in the country. He is absolutely fearless. -Jeffrey T. Kuhner, columnist, radio talk-show personality and President of the Edmund Burke Institute for American Renewal — http://ppsimmons.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-book-destroys-atheist-worldview.html

    Magnificent!

This book is wonderful. Succinct, accurate, easy-to-read. Biblically marvelous and builds Biblical faith. Most importantly, provides simple and effective answers to counter the silly arguments that evolutionists [and others] use to blame the God of the Bible for tragedies and death in the world [read 'sin']. This book should be placed in the pews of all churches along with the hymnals and Bibles, it's that important in these times in which we live.

An amazing book for bolstering the faith of the believer or answering the hard questions asked by skeptics. Whichever category you're in, you owe it to yourself to take a look at the evidence the author presents. Would suggest having a reliable modern Bible translation handy for understanding the Scriptures quoted, as those in the book are the King James Version.
