Their Magic Mellows with Time !

Blue Magic's sound is timeless! When I listen to their greatest hits, it tranports me to a place of serenity. These songs sound better today then when they were first released. It could be that I'm older and wiser. When I listen to one, I think this was their "best" until the next cut starts to play. That's why the "Greatest Hits" Tag applies "Tear it Down" if re-released today would be a million seller! Even with some change in personel their live performances still leave you wishing that they would do just one more song. Whether live or recorded, the performance tugs at your heart strings. You go away thinking "Whats come over me" Blue Magic carries on the tradition established by pioneer groups a half century ago. (Sonny Til & orioles, Eugene Mumford & the Larks and Ernie Lee Warren & the Cardinals) I can Mention Blue Magic along with those great groups because their sound and body of work demands a place on that pedestal!
