I thought it would be a great book for my daughter (14 months) to "read" by-herself, because the book reads by itself.

At the beginning my daughter was interested in the voice coming from the book, but it became more and more annoying each time she opened a page, and even she put it down and step on it to make it quiet.

The story is told by one of the characters of Sesame Street, but it goes a little to fast and doesn't stop talking, even when you close the book, until the character finishes the story on the page being read. Be careful to close the book when you want to put it away and your baby is asleep - the character will start talking. You need to push the bottom on the cover of the book to turn it off.

I'm know this book is for older kids, and mine has a short concentration period of time, for now, but it is loud and there is no way to turn it down.

Please don't take me wrong. It must be an interesting story book for an older kid that will like to be read to by a Sesame Street character, by I find it a little annoying.

    I Also Recommend:

    Cute book and story!

Like the story and the fact that the book has audio, but you have to hold the book just right sometimes to get it to work. Also, if the batteries are low it sounds unbearable. It makes a terrible screeching noise. However, when it works properly it is a great book! Has all your favorite Sesame Street characters!
