Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Mary Clayton Rowen
Ms. Fizzle and her class are working on their garden behind the school. A photographer is coming. One of the students wishes she had her flower that she had planted at her old school and so a field trip ensues. Everyone boards the school bus, which miniaturizes and changes into a ladybug. It flies to her old school. While on their adventure the children learn about the parts of a flower and how a seed is made. This is a delightful imaginative story and a wonderful way to learn about flowers. Based on an episode from the animated TV series produced by Scholastic Productions, Inc. and on "The Magic School Bus" series, this is a TV tie-in book.
