The Magic Strand
Accidentally transported along The Magic Strand into an alternate-earth realm of proud and powerful magical creatures called Glymps, a human three-year-old girl, Aurora, spends ten years growing up as a giant alien in a miniature magical world. Sent back to modern-day Montana at 14 to fulfill a mission to discover why the winged Glymps who have traveled the strand for centuries are suddenly vanishing, never to return, "Rory" is taken in by a family trying to right itself after a traumatic experience. Adjusting to pizza, shopping and high school with amateur online movie-critic and "brother" Andy, Rory begins to discover her humanity as a member of a geeky school club. Struggling to understand American life, her friends seem to change before her eyes: is this normal for human teenagers or is it Glymp magic? Together, the club members brave a series of fast-paced adventures, putting their lives on the line to prove their belief in magic and save the missing Glymps. The Magic Strand has been awarded the Parent Tested, Parent Approved Seal.
