Meet the Author

I live in Kansas City with my wife Molly and three children. I'm a Christian by religion,a Methodist by denomination and a Seeker by nature.

I wrote the trilogy "Rachel's Confession" in response to a question my eight-year-old daughter asked at my father's funeral. Dad had just died after a long battle with cancer, and my daughter wanted to know "What kind of God would allow that kind of suffering?"

At the time I had no answer, so I went in search of one. In the process, I rediscovered my faith, and came to understand God in a way I had not known before. As a result of my search, I wrote the trilogy.

Part 1 is "The Confession." Part 2 is "The Journey" and Part 3 "The Promise" will be available in the spring of 2013.

The Reverend Molly Simpson of Church of the Resurrection (the largest Methodist Church in the United States" had this to say: "If you have ever wrestled with the question 'Where was God when?' then allow Rachel's story to take your imagination on a journey towards healing"

I've also written a Christian-based thriller entitled "The Shroud of Mar-Saba."

I hope your like what you read. Please, send me your comments! I love feedback!

Very interesting begining. I cannot wait to read the novel. Two small problems. On page 18 Sullivan is talking to Sarah and says "No, we're not head to war." He should say "headed". Also, when Sullivan and the children sing "Happy Birthday" to Sara the song was not written until 1893 and since the Civil War started in 1861 it was kind of impossible. I do not mean to be picky, but since you asked for reader reviewsto help make this into a book, and I enjoyed very much what I have so far read, I thought I would share the two problems I did have with it. Good Luck!

Wonderful output.i was amazed at how good it really was. What i loved most is that it is typically based on a true story. I think the Author has done a great job in his work and should procced in making this a novel. It wasn't at all what i thought it would be, it turned yo be someething much much better. I enjoyed this very much and highly reccomend it. ^_^

I felt like it was building up then left me hanging. What a disappointment.

too short, seemed more like an excerpt.
