Overview

Ever heard of the "rat race"? Are you in it? Many people are and getting out can be very difficult if you don't have the know how. If you're going through bankruptcy or just wondering how to invest your money, this book can help. I want to show you how to navigate the unpredictable real estate and stock markets and take the confusion and frustrations out of managing your finances. Just ignoring your situation is not going to resolve your problems. It's time to get proactive.

Like the majority of America, I grew up in the lower middle class with a family struggling to live paycheck to paycheck but unlike most Americans I found a financial plan that has been tailored from my successes and failures . This plan has brought me financial security and all before the age of 30. But age doesn't play apart of this plan, anyone at any age can follow these easy steps, steps that I created by trial and error and through life experiences, to become financially independent.

I think this book could help many people. This is not another one of those just Think Big books. There are some really good tips that Noah has learned along the way and he shares them in this book.

My Uncle is a millionaire and I'm aspiring to be, we both thought the book really had a lot of good information in it. It lets you know what what it takes to become financially secure. Also it reaffirms the stuff you are doing will pay off in the future. A friend of mine also read the book and he did not like it as much. He has a ton of debt maybe that is why. The person that needs the book the most does not really want to learn what it takes to make it, go figure. You can do it GO FOR IT!

I was very dissapointed with this book. It doesnt tell you much beyond how paying your CC bills, investing in real estate, and consolidating your debt can keep you out of trouble and put you in a direction for future wealth. There is really no secret here. This book would be valuable to a young adult entering the workforce, or someone out of high school, but not much else.

Mr. Embree has done it, he's taken the confusion out of the stock market and has broken it down to it's most basic terms, from defininitions to explaining what drives stock prices and even when to sell your shares, I am impressed by his knowledge and understanding. I've been interested in investing in the stock market but didn't know where to start. Mr. Embree has answered all of my questions and more about investing.

The Making of a Millionaire is written in a simple, straight-forward manner. Instead of just throwing around investment terminology, Mr. Embree explains the terms in an uncomplicated way without being condescending. It is an easy read, written with humor and an understanding of financial realities and human foibles. Mr Embree's style is refreshing and his personal ancedotes give the reader confidence that regular people at any age can take control of their own financial destiny and get rich. This book is well worth reading.

In relation to other self-help financial books from 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' or books from the Trump series, Mr. Embree has been able to break down what the average American needs to know and do in order to get your financial life on track. While Donald Trump has a chapter in his book that describes the schedule of his day from waking at 6am to read the paper to his daily business meetings, you start to wonder how that has any educational value that lead up to Mr. Trump's success. On the other hand, Noah's insightful financial tips and personal foul-ups teach us a lesson. He is easy to relate to and his words are inspirational to anyone at any financial level. An overall quick and educational read, highly recommended!
