Meet the Author

William R. Greene (“Bill” to you) has sojourned in Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, and Massachusetts, but is a Tar Heel by pedigree and inclination. He now resides just outside Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in Calvander, with his wife Allison and four cats.

Bill, a Software Engineer with decades of experience, has worked in compilers, operating systems, and computer networks for a research lab, a compiler house, two start-ups, and computer manufacturers including Apollo Computer and IBM.

He had earlier worked for a year as a typesetter and layout artist.
