True stories from the life of William R. (Bill) Greene.
How would you face these situations:
Putting a cat on a diet?
Learning the name of a one-armed turtle?
Force-feeding a large animal?
Coping with alien technology?
Nursing a burst appendix at home?
Producing an eBook without a word processor or InDesign?
And of course ... a cat-hair suit?
William R. Greene (“Bill” to you) has sojourned in Florida, Hawaii, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, and Massachusetts, but is a Tar Heel by pedigree and inclination. He now resides just outside Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in Calvander, with his wife Allison and four cats.
Bill, a Software Engineer with decades of experience, has worked in compilers, operating systems, and computer networks for a research lab, a compiler house, two start-ups, and computer manufacturers including Apollo Computer and IBM.
He had earlier worked for a year as a typesetter and layout artist.
